All Krohn-Hite instruments returned for repair or calibration must include a Return Material Authorization (RMA) number. An RMA number is issued once the RMA Request Form is completed.
When the RMA is issued, you will receive an estimate for evaluation, repair, and/or calibration.
Please note that additional costs may apply if the instrument has extensive damage or if test data is specifically requested.
All calibrations are performed using NIST-traceable standards. Each instrument returned after service will include a Certificate of Calibration at no extra charge. If calibration data is required, a fee of $125 applies for incoming data and $125 for outgoing data. Requests for calibration certificates made after the unit has shipped will incur a $50 per instrument charge. Calibration data cannot be supplied once an instrument has been returned.
Retrofits
To add an option to an existing instrument, a retrofit fee of $275 will be charged (plus the cost of the option). An RMA is required.
Warranty
All new Krohn-Hite products, unless otherwise noted, are warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of shipment. Damage caused by misuse is not covered. Warranty repairs are guaranteed for 30 days from the return shipment date. Extended warranty options are available.
In-Warranty Service
Warranty service is performed at Krohn-Hite Corporation’s factory in Brockton, Massachusetts. Customers must obtain an RMA number prior to returning any product for warranty service. Shipping costs to Krohn-Hite are the customer’s responsibility; however, return shipping after service will be paid by Krohn-Hite.
