Model 7000
Preamplifier
The
Model 7000 Low Noise Differential Preamplifier provides a high gain
amplification to 1MHz with an AC output derived from a very low noise FET
instrumentation amplifier and an optional DC (RMS-to-DC converted) output.
The Model 7000 has fixed gain settings of x1 (0dB), x10 (20dB), x100
(40dB) and x1000 (60dB) over a selectable bandwidths of 100Hz, 1kHz (HP),
3kHz, 30kHz, 100kHz and 1MHz (LP Off). Noise referred to input is 7nV√Hz
and common mode rejection is >100dB at 1kHz. The
Model 7000 provides
momentary pushbutton switches that control coupling, bandwidth, gain and
channel on/off selections. BNC connectors are provided for single-ended
and differential input, ac output, and dc output (optional) connections.

FLX-3007
Flexible Instrumentation Chassis provides a rugged, low cost,
flexible platform for up to 7 high performance
instruments sharing the same compact chassis. With the
FLX-3007 Chassis, you get
the functionality and features needed from a broad and growing selection of
plug-in cards, avoiding the costs associated with larger systems that are
not needed.
The
FLX-3007 platform can
be assembled with up to 7 plug-in cards that you specify. It can be
configured into a single channel signal conditioner or it can be expanded
into a channel management system when needed; and since all FLX plug-in
cards are all compatible, adding new cards is easy and economical.
Side-by-side rack mounting is available when high channel count is needed in
a 5.25” high 19" wide spacing.
FLX-ICP4 FILTER/AMPLIFIER CARD
The Model
FLX-ICP4 is a four-channel
filter/amplifier flexible signal conditioning card used in ICP®
sensor and other sensor/transducer applications requiring a constant
excitation current. A user selectable 4mA or 8mA constant current is
provided for excitation power to the input of the ICP® sensor,
while the return AC signal is conditioned through a differential fixed
filter/amplifier.
The
FLX-ICP4 can be populated with up to
4 independent channels, including a fixed low-pass Butterworth or Bessel
filtering from 1Hz to 200kHz and a fixed low noise gain up to 10,000. Filter
and amplifier characteristics are made to customer defined requirements
which may be changed at a later time by replacing the filter/amplifier
plug-in module for any or all channels.
The
FLX-ICP4 provides differential input
configuration for improved noise rejection with a typical
common-mode-rejection of >80dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of >100dB.
Single-ended operation can be configured for simple input applications.
Typical noise is <10µV referred to the input.
The
FLX-ICP4 is one of many plug-in cards
available for the FLX-3007, 7-slot Chassis System.

The Krohn-Hite
Model SC390-EL8
is an 8-pole, Elliptical, Plug-In Filter/Amplifier Card that provides 2
channels of signal conditioning for the Model 39000 Hydrophone Signal
Conditioning System. Each channel includes a recessed switch selectable
-20dB to 40dB gain control in 10 discrete steps with overload detection and
indication.
Three selectable
independent inputs are available for each channel of hydrophone, auxiliary
and test. There is only one output for the input selected per channel.
Filter cutoff frequency for each channel is customer defined between 1kHz
and 50kHz. |
The Krohn-Hite
Model PC300 Module Carrier Card is a filter mounting assembly that
eliminates the need of breadboard or hand wiring filter modules into
individual test set-ups. The
PC300 is a
factory assembled printed circuit card with socket pins for filter module
insertion, various electronic components, standoffs for mounting, BNC input
and output connections and connections for attaching the required bipolar
power supplies of +15V and -15V. The PC300 will operate any of the low-pass,
high-pass or band-pass Krohn-Hite 3A, 3B, 3C and 3D series filter modules. |

The NEW Model FMB3002AC and FMB3002DC two channel, compact
filter chassis provide housing for the Krohn-Hite 3F Series Fixed
Frequency Filter/Amplifier Modules. Each channel has an input BNC
connector for single-ended operation, a terminal block connector for
differential operation, and an output BNC connector. Internal sockets are
provided making installation and removal of other 3F Series modules easy
when desired. Each chassis provides for battery power. Two high energy 9V
batteries are recommended.
