DESCRIPTION
This instrument is of solid-state, hybrid
design with a long history of reliability. The fundamental
design is conceptually simple and straightforward (see block diagram). The Model
CR-103/J is
comprised of two complete instruments. The dc voltage section is an ultra-stable,
chopper stabilized
amplifier with selectable precision resistors in the feedback loop. The temperature
compensated,
aged zener diode is the reference for the entire instrument. The dc current section
is essentially
the same configuration plus a precision, reference resistor. Years of experience,
experimentation
and testing has produced this fine instrument.
The most important features of these instruments
are STABILITY and LOW NOISE!
