GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Model E100RC is a precision DC Voltage Source which is highly stable and versatile calibrator, reference and source all in one.  Each E100RC's specified accuracy is traceable through a bank of saturated standard cells to the National Institute of Standards & Technology.

The unit was designed as low-cost, variable voltage reference for applications such as on-line production, Q.C. and field service. Also the E-100RC is a very versatile, highly stable and repeatable bench reference and source for calibration and linearity check of DVM, DMM, chart recorders and A/D converters. The Model E-100RC can be used as a simulator for thermocouples, strain gauges and other transducers.

OUTPUT
Range: 1, ±10Vdc plus 10% over-ranging; range 2, ±100mVdc plus 10% over ranging.
Resolution: Range 1, 100µV (10ppm), 5 decades; Range 2, 1µV (10ppm), 5 decades. Vernier control allows for infinite resolution and operates ±0.1mV through zero. The built-in “disable” switch disconnects the vernier from the circuit to restore discrete voltage steps and to restore zero.
Accuracy: Range 1, ±0.005% of setting + 50µV; range 2, ±0.01% of setting + 5µV.
Ripple & Noise (in a band-pass of 0.8Hz to 100kHz): Range 1, 100µVrms; range 2, 1µVrms.
Output Current: Range 1, 50mA with short-circuit protection; Range 2, into a 100k ohms load.
Output Impedance: Range 1, 50 milliohms; Range 2, constant 20 ohms.
Polarity Control (3 positions): The output is floating and can be reversed. The zero setting appears as a short-circuit of the output terminals.
Stability: 1hr., ±0.0005%; 8hrs., ±0.001%; 1yr., ±0.0025% of range + 5µV.
Regulation: For 10% line change, ±0.0005%; no load to full load, ±0.0005%.
